We are passionate about developing leaders and potential leaders of the future.
Our approach can be summarised as people-centric. We care about the people we work with and identify opportunities to help them develop, often beyond their perceived capability. Within the leadership development journey, we generate a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability.
We believe seven components are fundamental to good leadership, summarised by the acronym ‘HEIGHTS’. We empower individuals to develop and strengthen each component, to elevate their success:
- Humility – being humble is a key element of ‘Level-5 leadership’, as defined by Jim Collins in his seminal book Good to Great
- Emotional intelligence – being aware of our impact on others and able to flex our leadership style to the people we serve
- Integrity – being honest and doing what we commit to
- Grounded – being calm in challenging situations, dependable to those we lead and authentic.*
- High performance – being able to apply a wide range tools and approaches that instil team success, including:
- mindsets
- funnelling strategy into individual objectives
- a compelling elevator pitch
- leadership meta themes (praise, playing people in position, clarity and genuine concern)**
- developing a team charter
- overcome the culture of busyness*** to focus on what really matters
- Tenacity – being capable of holding your course through periods of organisational or personal challenge
- Sustainability – being able to create long-term organisational sustainability and positive impact
If this sounds like the sort of organisation you’d like to work with, we would be delighted to hear from you.
*As described in the books 13 Habits of Champions and Legacy
**Leadership meta themes as defined by the Gallup Q12 and other organisational engagement assessments as the most powerful ways for organisations to engage employees.
